Karnataka Congress Nominee Assets Worth 730 Cr

There may be crores of people in India who didn't even see a Lakh rupees in their lifetime but there won't be a politician who doesn't have properties worth a few crores at the minimum. There are some richest politicians in the county whose declared assets worth a few hundred crores. D.K Shivakumar recently filed his nomination papers on behalf of Congress Party and he is the richest MLA in ruling Congress party ruling Karnataka now.
D. K. Shivakumar(55) filed nomination papers in the Kanakapura Assembly constituency which falls under Ramanagara district. He has declared in his affidavit that he and his wife Usha's income & assets worth Rs.730 crores. He declared that the cash and bank deposits worth Rs.95 crore.. immovable assets valued at Rs.635.8 crores.. gold and silver valued around Rs. 1.5 crore. Apart from his assets he also declared that his daughter Aisshwarya's assets to be Rs. 100+ crores.
When Shivakumar declared assets in 2013 elections it was worth Rs.251 crores. His assets have been tripled since 2013. The Congress party leader is serving as Energy Minister in the cabinet. Interestingly, IT Department has raided DK Shivakumar's houses and offices at over 60 locations in Karnataka, Delhi, Chennai in 2017 on the charges of alleged tax evasion.
