Former Chief Minister of United AP, Kiran Kumar Reddy reached Delhi for the meeting with AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi at 11.30 AM on Friday. AP Congress in-charge Oommen Chandy and AP PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy will take part in the meeting.
Upon holding discussions with Rahul Gandhi, Kiran Kumar Reddy would be joining the Congress Party in his presence.
Though he firmly opposed the bifurcation, Kiran Kumar Reddy's last ball theory didn't work in favour of Seemandhra. Even his Samaikyandhra Party failed to leave any impact in 2014 Polls. Upon waiting for over four years, Kiran decided to go back to Congress Party and do his best to revive it's lost glory.
Analysts say, Kiran Kumar Reddy needn't have to justify for coming back to his parent party. Why because, Rahul Gandhi assured AP would be accorded Special Category Status if Congress forms government at the Centre. Even Oomen Chandy promised Congress won't ignore the crucial promise made by Manmohan Singh in the floor of the House.
