Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy Joins BJP, More To Follow

MLC Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has become the first big time politician to join the BJP in Telangana after the Lok Sabha elections. He took the plunge after days of dithering and discussions. On Tuesday, he formally joined the BJP.
But he is not alone in joining the BJP. He could well be the proverbial opening batsman. There are many more wickets to follow, if sources are to be believed. Several Congress and TDP leaders are likely to join the BJP. On June 27, key leaders like Chada Suresh Reddy, I Peddi Reddy, former MLAs Boda Janardhan, Sasidhar Reddy and 20 others are likely to join the BJP. They would join the BJP in Delhi. In the meanwhile, mandal and village level leaders from these parties are also making a beeline to the BjP. On Monday, a large number of TDP and Congress leaders from janagaon, Medak and Rangareddy districts have joined the BJP in the presence of state president Dr K Laxman.
