Allotment of constituencies for the parties of Grand Alliance is going to be a headache for Congress Party. Aspirants & Senior Leaders who are backing them have already began issuing stern warning to the party leadership.
Congress Leaders have been opposing allot of Nakrekal seat for allies. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy demanded party leadership to allot the seat for former MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah. He even staged a protest in Nalgonda along with the supporters of Lingaiah. 'Defeat of Uttam Kumar Reddy and Jana Reddy is inevitable if Nakrekal seat wasn't alloted to Lingaiah,'warned the Senior Leader.
Already, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy threatened to stay away from contesting in Assembly Polls if Lingaiah is denied ticket. Nalgonda is the stronghold of Congress and hence strong opposition can be expected.
TDP sought two seats in Nalgonda District. Nakrekal happens to be one of them. It is likely to field Palvai Rajani Kumar from this segment. Even Telangana Inti Party president Cheruku Sudhakar demanded Nakrekal seat for his party. So, Congress High Command is facing the heat.
