Flush with a massive victory, the TRS is now out to make the lives of those MLCs who defected to the Congress. The TRS has already lodged a complaint against the MLCs who switchec over to the Congress and asked the chairperson of the council to disqualify them. The chairperson is likely to move quickly and disqualify them.
Meanwhile, industrialist-turned-politician Konda Visweswar Reddy must be ruing his hasty decision to resign from the TRS. He had taken exception to the domination by minister Mahender Reddy of Tandur and resigned from the TRS. He had also resigned from the MP post. Now, Mahender Reddy had lost in the elections. Had Visweswar Reddy been in TRS, things would have got smoothened as Mahender Reddy had lost the elections. Visweswar Reddy could have emerged as the most powerful leader in Chevella-Vikarabad belt. Now, getting re-elected to the Lok Sabha too appears a remote possibility.
