Despite falling short of the magic figure, Karnataka Governor gave an opportunity for BJP's BS Yeddyurappa to become the next Chief Minister with a 15 days deadline to prove his majority in the legislative Assembly.
JD (S) Chief HD Kumaraswamy gave a call that at least now people need to understand the direction in which BJP has been heading. He accused Modi Government of misusing the Central Agencies and threatening MLAs in the name of search operations. 'Congress MLA Anand Singh complained to Me that Centre is using Enforcement Directorate to trouble him. BJP has been ruining the system and making a mockery of democracy,' he told.
Kumaraswamy appealed Chief Ministers of Telugu States to co-operate with JD (S) in the fight against BJP. He stressed Regional Parties to come under one platform for safeguarding the interests of the nation.
Ahead of Karnataka Assembly Polls, KCR met JD (S) supremo Deve Gowda and his son Kumaraswamy to seek their support for Federal Front. He even appealed Telugus in Karnataka to vote for JD (S).
