This Congress Leader Says He Has His Own Commitments

Who is the odd man out in the Congress Party today? Sabitha indrareddy wanted two seats. She got atleast one. Jana Reddy wanted two. He already got
one. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Mallu and Komatireddy families got two seats each. Even Ponnala Lakshmaiah, who was made to wait till three or four lists, has finally got the ticket to contest from Janagam. But, there is one senior leader in the party, who is denied the party ticket. He is none other than Marri Sasidhar Reddy.
Son for former CM Marri Chenna Reddy, Sasidhar Reddy is a several times MLA and a senior leader in the party. He was also the chief of the National Disaster Management Authority during the UPA 2 rule. He held a cabinet post. Earlier, he was part of the Rajiv Technical Mission.
But this time around, he has not been given party ticket to contest from Sanatnagar. The seat has been allocated to the TDP. Now Sasidhar Reddy says that he has some commitments to the people of the constituency and would discuss with the party workers to take a decision on the issue. His followers too are livid. They are crying vengeance. They say the party has become a tool in the hands of Chandrababu Naidu. It remains to be seen what would be Sasidhar Reddy's next move.
