Mayawati Worse Than Transgender: MLA

Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Sadhana Singh made controversial remarks on BSP Chief Mayawati during a rally. 'Mayawati doesn't have self-respect. She joined hands with those who harassed her. In 1995, There was almost a sexual abuse. Draupadi took revenge on those who insulted her. Whereas, Mayawati stooped to a new low for getting hold of power. Her activities were a blot on womankind. Don't know if she should be treated as a Male or Female, she is worse than a transgender,' she said.
BSP demanded an apology from the BJP MLA for passing insulting remarks on Mayawati. Opposition Leaders opined BJP Netas seems to be losing their mental balance because of the alliance between SP & BSP.
SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav slammed the BJP MLA for making derogatory remarks. Terming it as an insult to all the women, He said remarks made by the BJP Leaders show their desperation and nervousness.
Congress Spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi sought an apology from BJP to Mayawati.
On the other hand, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale condemned the sensational remarks of the BJP MLA. He advised party leaders not to cross the line when it comes to personal allegations.
Women Commission responded seriously over the remarks made by BJP MLA. Show-Cause Notices have been served to the Legislator. Upon facing the backlash, Sadhana Singh issued an apology for making derogatory remarks.
