Merger Of CLP & TDP RS-Wing Illegal: Acharya

Former Lok Sabha Secretary General PDT Acharya stated merger of CLP with TRS after defection of 12 Congress MLAs and TDP Rajya Sabha-wing with BJP following the migration of 4 MPs is illegal. 'These developments are a violation of law in accordance with the 10th Schedule of the Constitution. A political party have to get merged with another party, but her only the Lawmakers shifted loyalties. How can it be considered as a merger when two parties don't merge?,' he questioned.
Acharya maintained that a Lawmaker could avoid disqualification if he could prove that his original party got merged with another party with acceptance of 2/3rd of the members. In this case, Merger didn't happen at all.
What would either BJP or TRS will have to say about the views expressed by the Former Lok Sabha Secretary General? Ruling Parties have been encouraging defections by misusing the power they have. How could PM or CM preach about morals and ethics when they indulge in such practices? YS Jaganmohan Reddy is far better than any other politician in the country in this aspect.
