Modi Answers To Jagan's Tweet, Ignores Chandrababu

Despite the best efforts of Chandrababu Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appears quite determined not to allow any quarter to the TDP chief and his son Nara Lokesh. Realising that the TDP would survive the current crisis only by befriending Modi, Chandrababu Naidu has been using every charm to please Modi. But, Modi appears to be playing hard ball with Naidu.
So, when Chandrababu and Lokesh tweeted birthday wishes to Modi on September 17, the prime minister chose not to respond to them. While he tweeted thanks to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and other leaders from AP, he completely ignored the TDP. This is a strong rebuff for Chandrababu Naidu.
It is clear that Modi has not forgotten Chandrababu’s machinations to cobble up alliances against him. He clearly has not forgiven Chandrababu's comments and behaviour in the run-up to the general elections. So, Chandrababu needs to woo Modi, but Modi is playing hard ball.
