Reports have surfaced that Venkaiah Naidu is the front-runner to be the next Vice President of India at the time of President Polls. Few weeks ago, The Union Urban Development Minister clarified he would never be in race for such a post as he loves to meet people, visit various places and be active in politics. Still, These reports kept doing rounds since few days.
Political Analysts say, This move could be a ploy of Narendra Modi to end the dostana of Chandrababu Naidu & Venkaiah Naidu. There is an impression that Venkaiah sings to the tunes of Babu all the time and he is the main hurdle for BJP to emerge as strong force in AP.
May be, Modi is of the feeling that Venkaiah Naidu could be kept away from AP Affairs and Active Politics if he is made Vice President. While Venkaiah isn't willing to accept the post, Chandrababu is of the feeling that losing the services of such a leader will prove costly for AP.
