Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress President-elect Rahul Gandhi planned road shows in Ahmedabad on the final day of hectic poll campaigning for Gujarat Assembly Polls. Whereas, Gujarat Police denied permission from their road shows fearing law & order issue as their routes were in conflict. While the Congress Prince cancelled his road show, NaMo decided to use waterways for campaigning.

On Tuesday morning, Narendra Modi boarded a seaplane from the Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad and reached Dharoi Dam at around 11 am. A special jetty was constructed for the convenience of PM while boarding the plane. After the darshan at Ambaji Temple in Mehsana, He will reach Ahmedabad on the seaplane.

Cleverly, Narendra Modi used his campaign using seaplane to boast about the development happened in Gujarat under BJP rule. 'With air, roads & rail connectivity, our Government is making efforts for harnessing waterways. All this is for 125 crore Indians. The transformation across Gujarat is for everyone to see. Sadly, Congress notion of development is making a quick buck and that is why they are unable to see any change for the better,' he commented.
