Following the Uri Terror Attack, India & Pakistan are no more interested in holding talks over the Kashmir issue & any other border dispute. The surgical strikes launched by India has only made the war official. Since then, Violent incidents were reported across the border. Several Indian Army Jawans, Pak Rangers, Terrorists and Citizens of both the Nations have died in the attacks.

Interestingly, Majority of the Pakistanis are in favor of dialogue with India to settle the dispute. The study conducted by Gilani Research Foundation reveals, About 68% of the Pakistan Citizens want the respective Governments to resume talks so that peace restores. While 31% doesn't want dialogue, 1% refused to take a stand.

As many as 1835 respondents in Pakistan rural and urban areas were asked if they wish for dialogue or against talks between neighboring countries. Samples were collected from September 26th to October 3rd last year. The margin for error in the survey is 2-3% approx.
