First Major Step to induct Lokesh into AP Cabinet

The first major step to induct Nara Lokesh into AP Cabinet has been taken by TDP Government. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu preferred the election of his Son as MLC from East Godavari district.
The term of Boddu Bhaskar Rama Rao as MLC from East Godavari ended recently. Election Commission announced March 17th as the election date to fill the vacancy. After issuing a notification to this effect on Tuesday, Nominations will be accepted from the leaders in race for the MLC Post.
Already, Boddu Bhaskar Rao urged TDP Leadership to re-elect him as MLC. Even Former Minister Chikkala Ramachandra Rao and Senior Leader Ganni Krishna were in race for the post. However, Chandrababu Naidu is mulling to field Lokesh and thereby offer him the cabinet berth.
Two Ministers have already been assigned the job to appease the Leaders who are aspiring to be MLC from East Godavari. They were giving assurance that development works will speeden up if Lokesh represents EG district in the council. Nara Lokesh is expected to visit East Godavari Today. He might be filing his nomination on February 28th.
