There is some sort of criticism from Industry folks and public every time Nandi Awards were announced. This time, The criticism grew multifold as many deserving films, actors & technicians were ignored for reasons best known to the Jury Members. Most of the people have the feeling that Nandi Awards announced for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016 are one sided.
Many Film Personalities who took part in TV Debates didn't hesitate to describe Nandi Awards as Kamma Awards and Cycle Awards. Usually, Any controversy will get subdued after 4-5 days and the focus will shift to some other issue. Just when the situation is reaching normalcy, IT Minister Nara Lokesh ignited fire by saying people who don't have Aadhaar Cards and Voter IDs in AP were criticizing TDP Government.
The remark made by Lokesh gave scope for the critics to target the State Government directly. Posani Krishna Murali & Tammareddy came into the picture to offer a befitting reply to the IT Minister. Thereafter, Lokesh offered a clarification over a point raised by the Critics. Overall, The comment made by the Minister has caused embarrassment to CM & TDP Government. It's gonna irk TDP politically sometime in future for sure.
