Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a warning to BJP MPs who haven't been attending the Parliament regularly during the recent Parliamentary Party Meeting in New Delhi.

Taking serious note of the poor attendance of some Party Lawmakers, Modi questioned, 'Should anyone remind the MPs about the need to attend Parliament? Party shouldn't be in a position to issue whip for the sake of attendance. Party is everything...Individuals aren't important. You do what you wish to do…I will see what I should do in 2019'.

PM congratulated Amit Shah who completed 3 years as BJP Chief and got elected to Rajya Sabha from Gujarat recently. He lauded the BJP President for bringing the culture of hard work into the party. He told Amit Shah will be watchful of who is attending and skipping the Parliament sessions from now.

Those BJP MPs who are maintaining poor attendance may give up hopes of receiving the Lok Sabha ticket in 2019 if they don't take the warning seriously.
