Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday mocked BJP saying there is no bigger joke than the saffron party talking about Constitution.
During her address in Lok Sabha, Sonia Gandhi heaped praises on BR Ambedkar for his contribution in the making of Constitution and also reminds the how he appreciated Congress for the smooth process of its adoption.
Taking a dig at Modi-led NDA, Sonia Gandhi said the principles which inspired the whole nation for decades were deliberately attacked in the past few months. 'The people who have no faith in constitution, who haven't contributed for it are repeatedly talking about it. There is no bigger joke than this!,' she commented.
Sonia Gandhi made these remarks during the discussion on commitment to India's Constitution on the eve of BR Ambedkar's 125th birth anniversary celebrations.
