No Caste Meetings, Chandrababu Tells Kapus At Caste Meeting

Chandrababu Naidu called for a meeting of the Kapu community leaders within the TDP and told them not to hold caste-based meetings. Sounds ironical isn't it? But that typical Chandrababu style. If he does something, it's right. But, if the same thing is done by others, it's patently wrong. He held a meeting with Kapu community leaders in the party to discuss the issue of the reports of their planning to join the BJP. He reportedly told them not to organise meetings on caste basis.
Sources say the meeting primarily discussed why the Kapus have cold-shouldered the TDP. He is reported to have said that though he had done a lot for the community, they have deserted him during the elections. But the fact is that not just Kapus, but every community has deserted him for reasons best known to him. But, some Kapu leaders have reportedly did plain-speaking. They reportedly drew Chandrababu's attention to the insensitive and abusive treatment of Mudragada Padmanabham by the police. They, however, stopped short of pointing out that even Lokesh Babu had abused Mudragada. This was vouched by Mudragada himself.
Interestingly, all the Kapu leaders reportedly told Chandrababu that would remain in the TDP till their last breathe. Well! We need to wait and see if these Kapu leaders truly stay with the TDP for long.
