IndiGo Passengers Stranded For 7 Hours!

An IndiGo flight that was stationed at Delhi Airport which was bound to Bengaluru has left the passengers stranded for more than 7 hours for the non-availability of the crew. The IndiGo flight 6E 2977 was supposed to take off at 10.40pm on Sunday but it didn't take off until Monday morning.

The passengers waited endlessly in the plane, sitting on the asphalt of the runway, and sitting in the shuttle. Deeply upset with the service of the IndiGo, the passengers took to Twitter and expressed their anger. A passenger named Pranith Alagwadi tweeted "DEL-BLR 6E2977 delayed by over 7 hours (22:40 to 6:40). Kept us like cattle in the bus. And then like dogs on the asphalt of the runway. Peanuts and Frooti offered at 6:00 am. Not allowed to get on flight."

Another passenger Ajeetesh Pratap Singh tweeted "IndiGo6E Flight no. 6E-2977 & 6E-2376 grounded for want of pilot. And the best explanation they've come up with is, the previous pilot's duty hours were over. Seriously?"

A dust storm gripped Delhi yesterday which has thrown the flight operations haywire. IndiGo reportedly had 30 conversions due to the extreme weather conditions. This lead to huge delays and cancellations. The schedules of over 70 flight were affected due to bad weather in Delhi.
