Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his entourage weren't able to get accommodation at the iconic Hotel Lalitha Mahal Palace in Mysuru during the recent visit. District Administration had to opt for another star hotel in the city.

Lalitha Mahal's GM Joseph Mathias confirms an official from Deputy Commissioner's Officer reached the Hotel to book rooms for PM, his staff and security personnel. He, however, ruled out any such possibility as most of the rooms were booked for a wedding reception by then. As the three available rooms won't be sufficient for PM's stay anyhow, Alternative arrangements has been made by the District Administration.

Hotel Radisson Blu was preferred for the two day tour. Even there, A Businessman's Family was advised to conclude the wedding reception by the PM arrives citing security reasons.

During the tour, Modi visits Jain pilgrim centre Shravanabelagola, attends South Western Railway Function and takes part in a rally in poll bound-state.
