Now that the Telangana elections are over, the BJP leader Ship has decided to focus on Andhra Pradesh. The BJP wants to tie down Chandrababu Naidu, who is now planning to attack the BJP at the national level by trying to form third front alliance. The BJP wants to launch a vigorous campaign against Chandrababu Naidu and highlight the achievements of the BJP during the last four-and-a-half years.
Already th e party has taken up "Intintiki BJP" (BJP in every home) campaign and has met several Lakhs of households across the state. Now the party is all set to launch a state-wide bus yatra from Srikakulam in the month of January. The bus yatra would see several BJP top leaders, including Amit Shah, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and others, campaigning for the party. A specially designed 20-seater bus is being readied for the purpose. Meanwhile, the BJP is also planning to hold a massive rally in Tadepalligudem and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to take part in this programme.
With the party hoping to do well in Telangana, there is a new-found energy and enthusiasm in the BJP in Andhra Pradesh. The leaders are hoping to cash in on the feel-good atmosphere in Telangana. A slew of local and national leaders will work for the party in Andhra Pradesh. Party's senior pracharak Sunil Deodhar, who is chiefly responsible for the party's stunning victory in Tripura, is already camping in AP for the past two months.
