No Merger Talks any more: O Panneerselvam

O Panneerselvam on Sunday night dissolved the 7-Member Committee constituted to work towards the merger between factions led by him & Tamil Nadu CM E Palaniswami.
OPS Camp cited AIADMK Government not honoring its major demand to expel VK Sasikala Natarajan and TTV Dhinakaran from the party as the reason behind ending Merger Talks. 'They didn't even order for CBI Probe into Amma's death. There is hardly any progress since the formation of committee on April 21st,' says OPS Faction.
As many as 12 MPs and 11 MLAs have been in O Panneerselvam's Camp. OPS demanded Chief Minister's post for merger but Palanisamy refused to step down. Meanwhile, TTV Dhinakaran became active again after release from Jail and wooing as many MLAs as possible.
On the other hand, E Palaniswami lashed out at the opportunist politics of DMK Working President MK Stalin. He accused MK Stalin of desperately trying to destabilize AIADMK Government. 'After failing miserably, Stalin alleges AIADMK is a benami of BJP,' he added.
