One More Statehood Movement in Telangana?

Congress MLA Challa Vamsichand Reddy, who is representing Kalvakurthy Assembly Constituency, cautioned TRS Government that the injustice being done to South Telangana could lead to yet another statehood movement. He alleged CM KCR of not giving equal importance to South & North Telangana.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, Vamsichand Reddy said: 'Interlinking of Dindi & Palamuru Projects will harm Farmers. People of Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Ranga Reddy might fight with each other if such a situation arise. There is a possibility of 'Water War' in future due to the political conspiracy chalked out by KCR. TRS Government is anti-farmer. We will launch a movement if Government fails to provide water to Kalvakurthy for Kharif through lift-irrigation,' he warned.
Former MLA Vamsi Krishna: 'Kalvakurthy lift-irrigation turned useless. Golden Telangana is possible if Palamuru District have sufficient water resources. We will launch a massive movement for addressing the injustice'.
