Only 3 Promises Are Pending: Haribabu

AP BJP Chief Kambhampati Haribabu held a meeting with Party MLAs, MLCs and Senior Leaders at Hotel Ilapuram in Vijayawada to discuss about ongoing political developments. The agenda is to offer a strong counter to the allegations from TDP, BJP and Jana Sena Party.

During the meeting, Haribabu conveyed the message: 'Centre has been implementing all the promises already. Only Railway Zone, Durgapatnam Port and Kadapa Steel Plant are yet to be fulfilled. There is no movement on these three in TDP Government itself. We compensated revenue deficit. Officials ruled out Railway Zone in Visakha. We are holding talks with other states for setting up special zone. Durgapatnam Port will arrive if State Government provides an alternative location. Centre is favorable for Metro Rail Projects as well. You need to take all of these aspects into the people. BJP is the party which fought sincerely during bifurcation. Development happened only in Hyderabad in the United AP. Centre is committed for all-round development of AP'.

Haribabu directed partymen to offer befitting reply to criticism from TDP and Jana Sena. He sees a deliberate attempt to tarnish the image of BJP since Union Budget 2018 was presented.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu mayn't have learnt any lessons from Telangana statehood and what happened in the case of Hyderabad. He seems to be focussing only on Amaravati rather than decentralization. Even the demand for setting up High Court in Rayalaseema wasn't considered.
