Over 80 Percent Polling In Andhra Pradesh
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 April 2019 4:35 PM GMTChief Electoral Officer Gopalakrishna Dwivedi announced 70.67 percent of polling was recorded in Andhra Pradesh by 5 PM. He claimed to be expecting the polling percentage to touch 80-mark as voters who stay in the queue line before 6 pm will be allowed to vote.
Mr.Dwivedi told violent incidents took place at 25 places in AP and polling happened in violent atmosphere in Rayalaseema. He informed there is a possibility of re-polling in six polling stations. Final decision on re-polling will be taken tomorrow. Re-Polling could happen at polling stations in Tadipatri, Sattenapalli and Allagadda.
AP CEO said not even a single violent incident was reported in the Maoist-affected Areas. He admitted that few EVMs failed to work properly even after checking them during the mock polling.

Lakshadweep: 65.9
Meghalaya: 62
Telangana: 60.57
Uttar Pradesh: 59.77
