CBN Steps Back: English Medium not now!

AP Government issued a GO converting all the Municipal Schools in the State into English Medium Schools. Upon receiving criticism, Government has made few changes to the order passed.
Municipal Minister P Narayana held a press meet to inform latest developments. 'Students studying in Municipal Schools needn't worry. They could write the examinations in Telugu itself. Before the start of next educational year, Government will hold counselling for Students & Parents for conversion to English Medium. Support of Teachers and Parents is a must for reforms in the education system. Please don't politicize it!,' he told.
Mr. Narayana opined Students in rural areas aren't able to compete at the highest level because of Telugu Medium. He reminded that english is a must for all the competitive exams. The Minister states having good command on English will help them scale new heights by effectively using internet.
