Babar Azam who is Pakistan's best batsman claimed to be treating Indian skipper Virat Kohli as a role model. He didn't hesitate to say, 'By watching Kohli bat in different conditions, I try to learn from the way he plays. Kohli's winning ratio is higher for India, so I am aiming to reach that level'.
Pakistan won only one out of the three games it played during the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup. Facing defeat in the match against India on June 16th could ruin it's chances of qualifying for the Semis.
However, Babar Azam feels Pakistan Team takes confidence from the victory against India in the ICC Champions Trophy final which happened two years ago. He told the whole Team is determined to do well in the match against arch-rival.
Babar Azam accepts that India have a good bowling attack led by Jasprit Bumrah. At the same time, He reminds Pakistan has done well against England which also have a good pace attack.
