7 Passengers found Standing on Overcrowded Flight

As many as 7 Passengers have travelled from Karachi to Medina on a Boeing 777 in a standing position on January 20th, 2017. While the actual capacity is 409 including the crew, 416 people were permitted to travel to Saudi Arabia. Something like this happened for the first time in the history.
Investigation carried out by Dawn Newspaper revealed, Staff of Boeing 777 has issued additional handwritten boarding passes to accommodate passengers beyond the actual capacity.
Experts say, Airlines has put the lives of everyone onboard at risk by violating the norms. Over-Crowded could pose problems in cases of emergency evacuation. In addition, Passengers wouldn't have access to Oxygen when it mattered the most if anything went wrong.
Pakistan International Airlines has begun the probe on the allegations of over-crowding in Boeing 777.
