The swearing-in ceremony of Edappadi Palaniswamy (63) as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister took place at Raj Bhavan in Chennai Today. 31 Members will be taking oath along with him as Counsel of Ministers.

Third Term of O Panneerselvam as CM ended Today. Palaniswamy allotted the multiple portfolios handled by Panneerselvam to the leaders loyal to Sasikala Natarajan.

Reportedly, Palaniswamy informed Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao about his willingness to prove his strength in the state Assembly immediately. To continue as CM, At least 117 AIADMK Legislators should vote for him in the floor of the House.

The 124 MLAs in Sasikala's Camp celebrate the Governor's invite to form the Government with 'Payassam'. Only after the announcement, They stepped out of the resort.

Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai told Sasikala will continue to be AIADMK General Secretary. He maintained Palaniswamy will serve only as Chief Minister.

On the other hand, O Panneerselvam made it clear his battle will continue. He opined people of the state doesn't approve Sasikala's Camp leading the Government and anguished that those who are responsible for Amma's death are in power now.

AIADMK MP V Maitreyan who is part of OPS Camp will be meeting Election Commission in New Delhi seeking disqualification of Sasikala's election as interim General Secretary. He maintains Sasikala was elected by AIADMK General Council not by its Primary Members and it's violation of norms.
