BJP-OPS Dosti: Not A Benami!

Political Opponents and even a section of People were of the opinion that BJP has been backing O Panneerselvam since the demise of Jayalalithaa and hence he was able to rise even after hitting the rock bottom with the formation of Palanisamy Government.
If the buzz is true, BJP is trying to expand its base in Tamil Nadu by 2019 Lok Sabha polls. The target is to win at least 15 out of 39 MP seats on its own. At the same time, Saffron Party is keen to form an alliance with Panneerselvam-led AIADMK.
On the other hand, Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu breathed fire on DMK Working President MK Stalin for alleging that the present government in Tamil Nadu is a benami of Modi Government. He questioned, 'Was DMK a benami of Congress Party during UPA Regime? We aren't influencing Tamil Nadu Politics in any way.'
