Pawan Kalyan & Nagababu's Election Expenditure

Election Observers reached a conclusion that YCP, TDP and Jana Sena Candidates in 15 Assembly and 2 Lok Sabha Constituencies of West Godavari District spent Rs 9.16 crore.



As per Election Commission norms, An MLA Candidate is permitted to spend Rs 28 lakh and MP Candidate is allowed to spend not more than Rs 70 lakh.

In the two Lok Sabha Segments (Narsapuram, Eluru), All the three major parties spent Rs 2.31 crore. While Rs 1.36 crore were spent in Narsapuram, Around Rs 1 crore was spent in Eluru. YCP MP Candidates expenditure stood at Rs 82.9 lakh, TDP and Jana Sena Candidates spent Rs 74.1 lakh and Rs 73.9 lakh respectively.

Jana Sena Narsapuram MP Candidate Konidela Nagababu spent Rs 48.06 lakh (Highest) during the 2019 Elections. Eluru MP Candidate of JSP Pentapati Pulla Rao spent Rs 25.8 lakh (Lowest).

When it comes to Assembly Segments, Rs 6.85 Crore were spent in 15 Constituencies by the three parties (TDP: Rs 2.86 crore, YCP: Rs 2.46 crore, JSP: Rs 1.53 crore). TDP Kovvur MLA Candidate Vangalapudi Anitha leads in election expenditure (Rs 25.18 lakh). Pawan Kalyan spent only Rs 18.30 lakh in Bhimavaram.
