NDTV asked Pawan Kalyan if AP CM is really revolting against Centre for Special Status or Was he just an opportunistic politician. He didn't mind saying people lost faith on Chandrababu Naidu and No Confidence Motion is nothing but a drama. 'It's too late by the time Chandrababu reacted on Special Status. In a way, He mortgaged the self respect of AP People with Centre and playing with the sentiments. Even an 8-year-old kid in AP tells the same thing. I would disclose the proof of Nara Lokesh's corruption at the right time,' he commented.
On the other hand, India Today questioned Pawan Kalyan why AP Government is objecting even when Centre came forward to offer Special Package in the 90:10 ratio. 'If Centre is really committed for AP Development, What's the need for announcing Special Package midnight? There is a lot of confusion among people because of them. At least now, Centre need to make their stand clear,' demands the Actor-turned-Politician.
Jana Sena Chief found fault with TDP Government for taking up Polavaram though it's a National Project. He questioned what's the need for allotting the contract to a private company.
Asked if he supports BJP in next election, Pawan explained: 'Though I respect Modi personally, I will always be by people's side in Politics. More than my personal opinion, I would act according to the public opinion. People of AP are angry with BJP at present. I have full clarity...I needn't hide anything. How many seats I would contest will be decided in the near future'.
Jana Sena Supremo doesn't feel quitting Films for Politics as a sacrifice as he always wanted to do something to the people. He reiterates the political path chosen by him is no way similar to that of his Elder Brother Chiranjeevi.
Pawan Kalyan seems to be still short of confidence and hence he lacked the courage to announce Jana Sena contests in all the seats in 2019 Polls. He should have done something to ensure the No Confidence Motion yield the desired result. When he gonna launch fast-unto-death is a million dollar question. The political atmosphere in AP is favourable to YSR Congress at present and Jagan will be in a commanding position if election happens anytime soon.
