PM Narendra Modi announced Demonetisation on November 8th, 2016. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu had then claimed credit for Note Ban and showered praises on the BJP-led NDA Government. He was also the convenor of the committee set up by centre to resolve the aftereffects of demonetisation.
On the second anniversary of Demonetisation, Chandrababu Naidu says India is yet to overcome the economic setback caused by hasty decisions of BJP Govt. He alleged Note Ban destroyed employment, markets, business, liquidity & economic growth instead of black money.
Pawan Kalyan didn't take much time to slam CM Chandrababu Naidu and Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh for hailing BJP when people were dying waiting in the long queues to withdraw their hard-earned money from ATMs. 'Hon CM Sri CBN garu, MLC Sri Lokesh garu (Minister for Panchayat Raj)..You hailed BJP when I was slamming their one-sided decision. Who supported BJP? You or us?? It was only JSP which spoke truth and stood firmly against demonetisation,' he maintained.
Jana Sena shared an old video of AP CM to remind people about his tall claims that Demonetisation was indeed his idea. He also posted several links of National Media articles related to the stand Jana Sena took against Note Ban.
This is a strategic move by Pawan Kalyan to convey that he had opposed BJP in the best interest of public even during the period TDP maintained good relations with the national party. Does the accusations of secret deal between PK & BJP make sense anymore?
