Controversial comments made by Ram Gopal Varma over the interrogation of Film Personalities by SIT are certainly going to cause enough problems for him.
Advocate Ranga Prasad moved a petition in Ranga Reddy Court for making objectionable remarks on Excise Enforcement Director Akun Sabharwal. He accused Varma of disrupting the investigation of the Drug Racket Case. 'RGV demands SIT to treat School Kids caught using drugs just alike Film Celebs. That's not right! We have different laws for Minors & Majors,' said the Lawyer.
Mr.Prasad states RGV has committed a punishable offense by insulting Excise Officials and preventing them from doing their duties properly. 'As per Section 343 of IPC, Varma could receive jail sentence from 6 months to 2 years,' he added.
Earlier, RGV compared Akun Sabharwal to Baahubali and alleged interrogation of SIT has damaged the reputation of Hyderabad.
