Petrol & Diesel Prices to change daily in India

The changes in the International Oil Prices will have an impact on Petrol and Diesel prices in India on a daily basis. Until now, Oil Companies such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum used to revise the prices on Day 1 and Day 16 of every month. Under the new system, Prices gets changed every day depending on the crude oil and foreign exchange rate globally.
Oil Companies assure Consumers would avail more benefits under the new system as transparency can be maintained. Actually, This new model has be tested firstly in five cities in the country since May 1st this year. This include Vizag, Chandigarh, Puducherry, Udaipur and Jamshedpur.
Introduction of LED Screens at Petrol Pumps, Toll-Free number and App/SMS Alerts will keep the people updated about the prices of fuel regularly. In addition, Dealer's Code will be displayed at every Petrol Pump to allow customers to verify the prices through an SMS.
