Pawan Kalyan made an interesting comment when Polavaram Dumping Victims met him on Wednesday. 'Unlike others, I am not in a hurry when it comes to party matters. Learnt enough lesson from Praja Rajyam Party. I will be very careful while building Jana Sena,' he commented.
Does Pawan wish to say Praja Rajyam was a failure as Chiranjeevi lacked the patience to run the party the way he would like to? Chiru floated Praja Rajyam in 2008 and went to elections in 2009. After failing to form the Government, He merged his party with Congress within two years.
Since then, Pawan Kalyan maintained distance from political affairs. It's only after bifurcation of United AP, He floated Jana Sena but refrained from contesting polls to establish a stable government. TDP-BJP Combine formed the Government with his support. Since the past six months, Jana Sena Chief has been aggressively fighting for people's issues.
Speaking to farmers affected by Polavaram, Pawan Kalyan opined lot of expected and unexpected issues will arise with this mega project. He advised farmers and officials to focus on them. He told farmers shouldn't be harassed for benefitting few contractors. He promised to announce action plan within 2-3 days depending on the response from Government. He also made it clear finding solution to a problem is his main motto and speaking loudly/clashing won't resolve issues.
Pawan Kalyan questioned, 'Why didn't Government fulfill the promise of 1,450 gajala land to Farmers from SC Community in Lanka Villages?'.
