Tension at Jana Sena Meeting: CM Pawan Chants!

Tension prevailed at the Jana Sena Party Meeting at the ground opposite Nagarjuna University in Guntur, marking the Foundation Day celebrations, on Wednesday. Stampede took place at the venue due to the over-enthusiasm shown by fans, because of which over 100 people suffered injuries. About five party activists got fainted. Even Two Police Personnel suffered injuries.
The situation went out of control when Pawan Fans marched towards the dais damaging the barricades established at the venue with chants of 'CM Pawan Kalyan'. Fans and Workers who were in a mass hysteria tried to enter the Women Gallery.
Fans didn't cooperate even when Cops tried their best to control the situation. As a result, A minor lathi-charge has been carried out. Few Party Activists damaged the media vehicles parked in the area.
Pawan Kalyan made all the arrangements for the public meeting expecting around four lakh people. Even the elaborate ground work done for conducting the crucial meeting in a smooth manner turned out to be off no use because the Fans didn't maintain restraint.
