Plot to kill Director, Model gets 3 Years Jail!

Model Preeti Jain was convicted of plotting the murder of Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar. The court even pronounced quantum of punishment for the Model and Two of her Associates (Naresh Pardeshi, Shivram Das) for conspiring to kill the filmmaker. Whereas, Two other Suspects from Uttar Pradesh were acquitted due to lack of evidence.
The court sentences Preeti Jain and Two of her Associates three years in jail. Even a fine of Rs 10,000 was imposed on the convicts for plotting the murder.
Post the verdict, Madhur Bhandarkar took to twitter to say, 'Somethings are better left unsaid! Somethings are better left as they are. Life moves on, so have I'.
In 2005, Preeti Jain sought the help of Naresh Pardeshi to kill Madhur Bhandarkar. This development took place one year after she filed a Rape Case against the Director. However, Naresh was unable to execute the plan and hence she asked him to return the money. That's when Police came to know about the murder plot and took them into custody.
