Priyanka To Contest Against Modi In Varanasi?

A possibility of Congress fielding Priyanka Gandhi against PM Narendra Modi in Varanasi for 2019 Lok Sabha Polls can't be rule out as of now. While a section of people in Congress feel it's suicidal, Others see it as an opportunity to intimidate NaMo if SP and BSP back her candidature.
Congress is yet to announce its candidate for Varanasi Lok Sabha Constituency. This delay raised the suspicion whether if it's seriously considering fielding Priyanka Gandhi here.
Congress Spokesperson Randeep Surjewala refused to comment on the speculations in circulation. He maintained any decision will be informed only after it's been finalised.
Sources say, Congress conducted surveys in both Allahabad and Varanasi to assess the winning chances. The National Party can't find a better leader than Priyanka to fight against Modi.
