Pulwama Terror Attack Mastermind Killed

Four Army Personnel including a Major were martyred in an encounter with terrorists on Monday in Pulwama District, Jammu and Kashmir. Security Forces gunned down two terrorists, including Abdul Rasheed Ghazi alias Kamran who is the mastermind of IED Blast on CRPF Convoy few days ago, during this operation. Two Civilians succumbed to the injuries during the gun battle. They were identified as the owners of the house where terrorists took shelter. The encounter is still underway.
In the early hours of Monday, Indian Army's 55 RR, CRPF and SOF launched a search operation upon receiving a tip off about the presence of terrorists. Militants opened fire when the Army Personnel were carrying out search operation. Major DS Dondial, Head Constable Save Ram, Seooy Hari Singh and Sepoy Ajay Kumar were killed in the encounter. Sepoy Gulzar Mohammad was rushed to the hospital for treating critical injuries.
Few days ago, 40 CRPF Jawans were killed in the IED Blast in Pulwama on the National Highway in south Kashmir. This encounter is in retaliation to the cowardly act of the Terrorists.
