NTR's Daughter Daggubati Purandeswari is mulling to bid adieu to BJP anytime soon. If the buzz in political circles is to be believed, She is likely to join YSR Congress ahead of 2019 General Elections.
Purandeswari joined BJP ahead of 2014 Polls and unsuccessfully contested the elections from Rajampet Lok Sabha segment. After BJP backtracked on the promise of Special Category Status, She doesn't see the Saffron Party growing as a force in Andhra Pradesh. Hence, the former Union Minister is in a dilemma over continuing in BJP.
Sources say, YSR Congress MLA RK Roja is holding talks with Purandeswari since some time. Purandeswari is keen to contest from Visakha Lok Sabha segment, which she represented in the past, in 2019 Elections. As Purandeswari has got charisma and good image in Visakha, Jagan responded positively to the proposal. If Purandeswari contests from Visakha, The poll prospects of YCP MLA Candidates in this Lok Sabha constituency will improve. In that way, Jagan wants to conquer Visakha where his mother Vijayamma faced a defeat in 2014 Polls.
