Telangana TDP is fighting for existence since the two-eye stand taken by party supremo Chandrababu Naidu during statehood movement. The crisis had only got worse after the defection of MLAs into Ruling TRS. Now, The 35-Year-Old Party is on the verge of receiving yet another setback.

TDP Legislator R Krishnayya is mulling to quit TDP and float his own Political Party for the welfare of BCs. He wishes to hold meetings across Telangana by mobilizing 2 lakh BCs in each District. In the end, A massive public meeting estimated to be participated by 5 lakh people will be organized in Hyderabad.

R Krishnaiah rued lack of proper representation for BCs in Assembly & Parliament. He felt the necessity to offer 50% reservation for BCs, who comprise of 56% of the total population, in Assembly & Parliament. 'BCs receive only 14% of political posts though its population is so high. This must be increased to at least 50%. BCs should get 56% reservation in Central Educational Institutions & Employment. Telangana Government must allot Rs 10,000 crore for BCs in State Budget every year. Just alike SC/ST Atrocity Act, A BC Act need to be introduced for the protection of the people in this community,' he demands.
