Dravid Paid Rs 20 Cr, Got Rs 16 Cr! Another Scam!!

Former Indian Cricketer Rahul Dravid lodged a police complaint against Bengaluru-based Vikram Investment Company which is accused of duping over 800 investors to the tune of Rs 500 crore with a lucrative scheme. The Head Coach of Under-19 World Cup winning Indian Team had also burnt his hands.
As per the complaint, Former Sports Journalist Sutram Suresh approached Rahul Dravid in 2014 with the proposal to invest in the schemes of Vikram Investment Company. Dravid received good returns in 2015 for the first investment. Then, Suresh persuaded him to invest more for gaining such good returns. Dravid received only Rs 16 crore out of Rs 20 crore he invested so far. The company stopped paying him since the end of 2017.
Cops arrested five accused including Vikram Investment Company MD Raghavendra Srinath. His properties in Bengaluru and Chennai had been seized. An assurance has been given by the police department that seized properties could bring back 80 percent of the money of investors.
