Rahul Gandhi declared he is willing to be Congress Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2019 General Elections.

Addressing the students at the University of California's Berkeley, Congress Vice President said: 'I am absolutely ready but that decision is something the Congress Party should take'.

Responding on the criticism against dynasty politics in Congress, Rahul Gandhi tried to exhibit his sense of humour by saying, 'Dynasty Politics is a problem in all parties. Akhilesh Yadav (SP), MK Stalin (DMK), Amitabh Bachchan (S/o Big B), Mukesh Ambani & Anil Ambani (S/o Dhirubhai Ambani) are examples of dynasty legacy, that's how the country is running. Why just I have been a target? What matters is whether or not the heir is capable and sensitive'.

While reacting on the murder of senior journalist Gauri Lankesh, Rahul accused BJP of feeding hate, violence and indulging in politics of polarisation. He blamed Modi's Note Ban for two percent decline in the growth of the Indian Economy.

Praising Make in India and Swachh Bharat initiatives, Mr.Gandhi admitted Modi have a better communication skills than him but disapproves his approach to Foreign Policy. He faults isolation of Russia, Iran and neighboring nation by focussing too much of strengthening ties with US. He accused Modi of operating an online campaign involved by over 1,000 people whose sole aim is to destroy Rahul Gandhi's credibility.

In 2014 General Elections, Congress Party slipped to the lowest tally ever in Parliament. Rahul feels this happened because arrogance among partymen after being in power for 10 years.
