Congress President Rahul Gandhi breathed fire on the ongoing political developments in Karnataka where Governor invited BS Yeddyurappa to form the Government though BJP lacked majority.
Responding over the swearing-in ceremony of BS Yeddyurappa as 23rd CM of Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi said BJP made a mockery of Constitution of India by claiming it will form the government even though it clearly doesn’t have the numbers. This morning, while the BJP celebrates its hollow victory, India will mourn the defeat of democracy,' he wrote.
Congress MLAs staged protest against the Swearing-in Ceremony of BS Yeddyurappa in front of Karnataka Assembly. Former CM Siddaramaiah, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Gehlat joined the protest.
It's a herculean task for Congress and JD (S) to protect it's MLAs from being poached by BJP in the next 15 Days. BJP just need 7 more MLAs to claim power.
