A Miscreant threw Cement Bricks on Rahul Gandhi's convoy when he was touring Gujarat's flood-hit area Banaskantha. Though the Congress Vice President escaped unhurt, Security Personnel travelling with him suffered an injury.

Congress Leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi blamed BJP for the attack on Rahul's Convoy. 'A window of the car was damaged and an Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel was injured. Is this how BJP wants to silence Opposition?,' he questioned.

Whereas, BJP Leader Kailash Vijaywargiya told he don't know if the attack is orchestrated or real. Cops have nabbed the person who threw the cement brick on the convoy and investigation is under progress.

As many as six Congress Legislators are representing Banaskantha region in Gujarat. Though it was worstly affected by the recent floods, None of the MLAs have visited their constituencies because they had been shifted to a resort in Bengaluru to protect them from BJP until Rajya Sabha polls on Tuesday. Since last Friday, 43 Congress MLAs are staying at a resort in Bengaluru.
