During the recent Lok Sabha Polls, Rajinikanth told he would take a call on political debut based on the situation post the elections. Why because, By-Polls were held in around 20 Assembly Constituencies of Tamil Nadu during the same period. Finally, He decided to delay the launch of political party by close to one year as Ruling AIADMK is all set to complete full term.
As per the sources, Rajinikanth is keen to float political party in March 2020. That's exactly one year before the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly Polls. Superstar has already finalised Party's Name, Flag and Ideology. He would go into the public soon after the party launch.
Considering the recent statements of Thalaivar, A pre-poll alliance between the New Party and BJP for Assembly Polls can't be ruled out. At least, There will be friendly relations between the two parties. Saffron Party could be using this opportunity to gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu.
In the recent survey, Current CM Palanisamy was placed at bottom of the list in the Best CM Category. So, DMK will be the main rival of Rajinikanth in the next Assembly Polls.
