Superstar warned not to visit Sri Lanka

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth was supposed to visit Sri Lanka in April this year to hand over the 150 houses built for displaced Tamilians. However, This tour got now embroiled in a controversy.
Viduthlai Chiruthaigal Katchi (Liberation Panther Party) chief T Thirumavalavan appealed Rajinikanth not to visit Sri Lanka as his presence at a high-profile event could make a World believe things were back to normally in the Island Nation. He advised the Superstar to cancel the tour or face the wrath of Tamil Community.
A Foundation funded by Lyca Productions (which is producing '2.0') has built 150 houses for displaced Lankan Tamils. Rajini was invited as the Chief Guest for the programme at Vavuniya Town on April 9th to handover the houses to the beneficiaries.
