A day before 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2' release, Nagarjuna told Media that the film has to become a hit and only then he & Sam could watch each other's faces. Post the first weekend, It appeared like this horror-comedy is a Box Office success as an impressive share of Rs 12 crore has been generated. But by the end of Week 1, The Film managed to collect just over Rs 16 crore.

Theatrical Rights of 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2' were sold out for Rs 24 crore. The film still need to collect at least Rs 7.5 crore to keep Nagarjuna and Samantha in a happy mood.

Competition in the form of 'Raja - The Great' affected the revenues of 'RGG 2' to some extent. Else, The Omhkar directorial could have come close to Rs 20 crore-mark by now. Break-Even can be achieved only if decent shares were generated for another 7-10 days.
