Is the distance between media moghul Ramoji Rao and Telangana CM KCR growing? It appears so. Because he has brought out a mega app ETV Bharat App, which will provide news in 13 Indian languages. For this, Ramoji has been working hard for the past several months and had recruited hundreds of employees, again a never-before development. The app would be managed by his granddaughter.
But, quite significantly, the different language versions of the app were inaugurated by vice-president and his best buddy Venkaiah Naidu. For each language, the concerned chief minister or governor had launched the app. Thus the CMs of Maharashtra, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi,Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka or Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand had launched the respective versions, while Governors of Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha have launched the apps for their states. For Urdu, eminent poet Gulzar did the honours, while SP Balasubramanyam launched the Tamil versin.
But, when it came to Telugu, Ramoji did the unthinkable. TheAP version was inaugurated by CM Chandrababu and the Telangana version was launched by Ramoji himself. Why was KCR not invited? Is there something brewing between them? Have relations soured between them? This has become the hottest topic of discussion today. Why is it that KCR was not present at a programme being organised in Hyderabad? Is all not well between the two?
